THE HAVONA

The name Havona is an acronym for six aspects to the apartment.

H stands for Heart for Mount Austin because it is situated in the core of the township.

A stands for Accessibility as Havona is easily accessible via several main roads.

V stands for Variety as there are a variety of in-house facilities to choose from.

O stands for On Guard as a three-tiered security system secures the perimeters 24/7.

N stands for Neighbourhood. A good neighbourhood promises a good return of investment.

A stands for Amenities as local amenities are located a stone’s throw away.

The outstanding difference between Havona and other highrise developments in Taman Mount Austin is that Havona is part of a mixed development project with Hotel, Rooftop Lounge and Shopping Mall, and not a standalone serviced apartment.

This means Havona comes with built-in, in-house leisure and entertainment activities, with its own promenade of facilities enhancing the convenience and comfort zone for residents.

Of course, one may worry about the traffic congestion that may result when the project is completed. But worry not as the developer has made plans to put in place a systematic traffic flow plan to provide a convenient and congestion free commute in and out and throughout the vicinity.

Developer Profile

Sunray Development Sdn Bhd under the Lian Ak Group, is the developer of Havona Luxury Apartments. The group which began as an aluminum and glass window fabricator in Segamat in 1982 under its chairman Yeo Ann Seck, grew to become the biggest glass and aluminum fabricator with no less than six acres of aluminum and glass factories in the Southern region. Yeo was then appointed non-executive director of the public listed company Ajiya.

The company then began diversifying and its first foray into property development under the Lian Ak Group Property Division was 150 acres of mixed-use development in Kluang.  With successful completion of the project in 2000, the company grew to become the leading developer in Southern Malaysia with over 500 acres of landbanks in Johor Bahru, Segamat, Kluang, Tangkak, Yong Peng, Endau and Melaka.

By 2008, a total of 1500 units of residential and commercial project were completed. The following year, the company set its sights on Taman Mount Austin and by 2010, successfully sold over 1200 units of double storey terrace houses in L.A. Garden@Mount Austin with a GDV of RM400m.
